Within Boston University’s campus, there are over 500 clubs and organizations. Some are professional others are performance art based, and others are simply based on students’ preferences.
At the beginning of every academic year, Boston University holds an event called Splash. Splash is a day when all the clubs and organizations on campus set up tables on Nickerson Field, hand out flyers, photos, sign-up sheets to every freshmen. The point is to get freshmen, and other students, involved. It’s a great experience – seeing the entirety of Nickerson Field covered in scarlet and white, loud music playing, kids throwing frisbees, a rock climbing wall, and so on. Some years there have even been concerts.
Point is, there is no way for a student to be bored at BU. A student may not find his/her niche right away, but it is impossible for a student to not find something eventually. BU caters to every students’ interests and I promise, you will find where you belong.
